Brief Bio:
John Baptist Imokola is a third year PhD Student at the Department of Journalism and Communication in Journalism and Communication. He is interested in cultural studies, especially the workings of the television industry – ranging from content, management, audience studies, to production. His current research topic is: Television Programming Regulation: Exploring the Policy Implementation of Local Content Quotas in Uganda. John Baptist holds a Bachelor of Mass Communication and MA in Journalism and Communication, both from Makerere University. He is also an Assistant Lecturer at the Department. During his free time, he enjoys watching football, movies and walking.
