Rig on Freedoms of the Press

The Department of Journalism and Communication, Makerere University together with Department of Journalism and Media Studies, Oslo Metropolitan University will host areporting rig on Press Freedoms. The purpose of the project is to help students grasp the meaning of press freedom and its significance for journalism, which is often taken for granted in some countries. It involves researching, developing and publishing stories online about the conditions of press freedoms in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Zambia.
