About Me

Robert Madoi Nasaba holds a Masters of Arts degree in Media and Public Relations from Newcastle University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University. Robert has engaged with professionals within the media sector and academia. He has worked for some of Uganda’s top media houses, starting out as a reporter before working his way to the position of editor. His experience in journalism practice has straddled the print, broadcast and online arenas. He also lectured public relations modules at Uganda Christian University (Mukono) from 2009 to 2012. His teaching interests are in the areas of journalism practice and theory, professional ethics, political economy of the media, media industries, conflict and crisis reporting, sociology of news production, impact of new media and public relations.
