A fourth year student, Brenda Namata has won a scholarship with the International Training Programme (ITP) on media development in Democratic frameworks, by Swedish government agency— Sida. Namata is a communication major and was the best student in the communication policy and regulation course in their third year. In her own words, she is "the youngest, least educated and (least) experienced," amongst those selected and yet she still made the cut.
